The group of schools is composed of four elementary schools with kindergarten, one elementary school with classes from 5th to 9th years, and a secondary school, with 1876 students from preschool to secondary, 159 teachers and 48 educational action professionals. Our student audience belongs to a lower middle class, where 41 % of students receiving economic support, and 136 are disabled students. It is situated in the village of S. João da Talha in the suburbs of Lisbon. It has about 17,252 inhabitants (census 2011), spread over several neighborhoods. It is an urban village, where single-family dwellings or horizontal housing estates kind prevail. A small industry and trade are the dominant sectors. The majority of the population exerts its activity mainly in Lisbon and surroundings.
IES El Sobradillo is an institution located in a peripheral neighborhood in the southwest district of the capital of the island of Tenerife. Our center offers the teaching of Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training (professional qualifications level 1, 2 and 3) of three professional families and that has an Enclave Classroom that trains students with intellectual and motor disabilities.
Our students, especially in Compulsory Secondary Education and Basic Vocational Training, come from an environment with a lack of healthy habits, associated in large part with a low purchasing power, but also due to lack of training in creating daily routines at home.
Liceo Artistico “M. Preti – A. Frangipane” is a high school located in the heart of an area, primarily touristic and carries out its task of training with highly qualified teachers. Our territory includes the areas of significant cultural, economic and touristic potential. The curriculum is structured in line with EU guidelines, with entrepreneurship education and development of a vision of change oriented, initiative, creativity, professional and geographical mobility, and the recruitment of socially responsible behavior. Our institution offers the opportunity to work directly in the working reality by adhering to the demands of external stakeholders and provide students with a chance to participate in congresses, fairs, conferences and meetings, in art and tourism sector.
Lapua Upper Secondary School (Senior High School) is situated in Ostrobothnia, Western Finland. The enrolment is about 260 students. The staff consists of 21 teachers, a headmaster and 11 other members of staff, including a full-time student counsellor.
The school provides general education aiming at preparing students for further education, especially universities and universities of applied sciences (polytechnics). In order to graduate students have to pass a minimum of 75 courses and the national exam known as the Matriculation Examination.
Fyllingsdalen High School is located just outside Bergen City Center, the second largest town in Norway.
The school was built in 1980 and has around 550 students and 80 employees.
The school is a combined school; it is a high school and vocational school.
The school receives students from nearby secondary schools and students from other places in Bergen.
